Entrance Options
When choosing a Litter Chest, we will ask you where you'd like your entrance
(right, left, both sides, front or on the top), and what size entrance you prefer (Small: 5 1/2" x 7 1/4", Standard: 6 1/4" X 9 1/4" or Wide: 10" X 10".
The biggest choice, after choosing the model and finish you desire, is the cat entrance. The standard
entrance is 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" (for cats upto 18 lbs), but you can choose any of the other size entrances. Also, we will put
your cat entrance(s) anywhere on the cabinet! Each Litter Chest is made to order so you are assured a custom
handmade piece of furniture made just for you.
To choose the opening side it is when you looking at the chest your selection will be either "left"
(of the front panel), "right" (of the front panel), or "both" (sides).

The back of the chest is against the wall, it has airholes for ventalation. This panel is fully finished
on a stained or painted Litter Chest.
For tight areas you may want to choose the Front opening (not available on LC800 models). This allows the cat
to enter from the front of the chest, the entrance divider sections off the litterpan from view and out of reach
for most dogs.
For a "dog-proof" option we offer the top opening. This Litter Chest does not have any side openings, only
the "top" entrance. This is a great option for those who have a dog that likes to get "snacks"
out of the litterbox.

95% of our customers choose the standard size opening, but if you need something special we can do that too.
